What is it?

The bike share program is a student-driven, Center-supported program that aims to provide low cost bike rentals to students to use for the entire quarter. For just $20, students are provided with a 10-week bike rental, helmet, and University approved U-lock, as well as a free tune-up. The bike share program is supported in part by the Park Hill Bike Depot.

How do I sign up?

Bikes are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis to students who arrive in person at the Center for Sustainability, starting on Monday, September 9th at 9am for the Fall Quarter of 2013. There are a limited number of bikes, so interested students should plan to arrive as quickly as possible! Remember, the cost is $20 in cash.

The Center for Sustainability is located in Johnson-McFarlane Hall, Room 142. Office hours are from 9-5, Monday-Friday.If you have any questions, please email sustainability@du.edu or call 303-871-3345.

What are the bikes like?

There are two styles of bikes. One is an Origin-8 Cutler CB and the other is an Atlas X-Type. Both are single speed with coaster brakes. These bikes are perfect for riding around campus, to the grocery store, and other nearby areas.
