Looking for a desk or file cabinet for your office? Need to get rid of your used but still functional office chair? Furniture share is the place for you. As warehouse space on campus decreases, the furniture share program is evolving this year.
How does furniture sharing work?
If you have something to share, fill out this form with a description and picture of the item, then email it to email@example.com. We will post this information and share the posting at our quarterly FreeCycle day on the Driscoll Bridge. If you want an item you simply need to contact the person who posted it and submit a work order for facilities to move it.
FreeCycle, What's FreeCycle?
The opportunity to give your gently used materials a new life. FreeCycle days are a one day event on the Driscoll Bridge where you can donate anything you want to repurpose (that is still in working condition). Anyone can take items from the FreeCycle event. In the spirit of the original freecycle movement, we recommend you donate an item before you take an item.
The first FreeCycle day is October 23, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Popup Shop
In addition to three FreeCycle days, we will host a two week Popup Shop in the JMAC lounge after the spring quarter has ended. More information will be posted here in the spring quarter on how the Popup Shop will work.
