Winter Tales: A Shakespearean Cabaret
by William Shakespeare and Terry Dodd
Directed by Paula Sperry
Costumes Designed by Laura Love

February 1996
Winter Tales was produced
on the University of Denver Theatre Departments proscenium
stage. The proscenium arch is 24' wide and 14' high. The grid
height is 20' and there is approximately 6' of wing space on
both sides.
The Winter Tales set consisted of a octagonal box. Because
the Shakespeare pieces were not selected prior to casting or
start of construction the set needed to provide a space for any
scene, monologue, parody, or sonnet eventually selected for performance.
