Arena Stage PlanWorking was produced on the University of Denver Theatre Department’s proscenium stage. For this production audience risers were built on stage. They were arranged to produce a 20' by 18' arena stage. Batten trim height was 18'

The Working set consisted of a floor of masonite which was "dirtied" with an irregular wash of a blue glaze. Very large spike marks were then painted in different colors coded to the different scenes.

The lighting was based on 6 basic lighting areas. Each area was lit 5 instruments (Flame, R18; Middle Rose, R44; Light Lavender, R52; Light Steel Blue, R64; and a toplight gelled in Pale Amber Gold, R9). The entire space was then washed with 18 instruments gelled in the three primaries. Numerous specials with gobos were used for each significant mood or location change.
