If you're concerned about a student
First, trust your instincts. Faculty are often the
first to discern a personal or academic issue with a student. Second,
talk to the student. This may be daunting for you and for the student,
but students are generally grateful for the intervention. The Student
Life Division makes every effort to reach out to students of concern.
