RTD Passes

Students

Summer 2011 bus passes are no longer available for law students who were enrolled in spring quarter or who are currently enrolled for summer quarter, and for graduate and undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time in summer quarter.

Full-time undergraduate, graduate and law students pay a small fee per quarter or semester, to receive RTD's College Transit Pass during the regular school year (Sept-May). This sticker on the DU Pioneer ID card serves as the fare on all regular RTD bus and light rail services, including skyRide to DIA, enabling the holder to ride on RTD services without paying any cash fare.

Eligible for regular RTD College Pass: 

• Undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time during fall, winter, or spring quarter in classroom hours. 
• Graduate students enrolled full-time in participating program during fall, winter, or spring quarter.
• Continuous enrollment PhD students, graduate students in non-eligible programs and students fulfilling internship requirements, are NOT eligible for the RTD pass.  For a list of ineligible programs, please see below.

Eligible for the summer RTD College Pass:

• Undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time during summer quarter in classroom hours.
• Graduate students enrolled full-time in participating program during summer quarter.
• Law students who are enrolled during summer quarter or who were enrolled in spring quarter.
• Continuous enrollment PhD students, graduate students in non-eligible programs and students fulfilling internship requirements, are NOT eligible for the RTD pass. For a list of ineligible programs, please see below.

Not eligible for the RTD College Pass:

• Daniels College of Business - Executive MBA and Executive Real Estate programs
• Education - Ed Admin students, plus most TEP students (all Education students at 1/2 rate tuition)
• GSSW - Distance students in Durango
• SECS - All Lockheed Martin students
• UCOL - All University College students
• TWC - All Women's College Students
• Grad Tax - All Graduate Tax program students
• ITI - All Intermodal Transportation Institute students
• All part-time graduate or undergraduate students
• Students enrolled in non-traditional programs

Law & Grad Students:

If you are not on campus during regular hours, please call 303.871.7433 or email du@transolutions.org and we'll mail your sticker to you. In your message, please include the following information: your name, DU ID number, mailing address, phone number or email address, whether you're a graduate or law student, your program if you're a graduate student, and at which level you are currently enrolled (first year, second year, 1L, 2L, etc).

Faculty & Staff

With this annual sticker on your photo ID card, you can ride on all RTD regular services for free and on skyRide to DIA for $5 (skyRide from DIA is at no cost with valid Eco Pass).  Pass is not valid for special services (BroncosRide, RockiesRide, etc).

2012 Eco Passes are available for eligible faculty and staff.  Please fill out the Eco Pass Agreement Form (129KB PDF) and print before picking up passes. 

All staff requesting a 2012 Eco Pass replacement (original 2012 pass was lost or stolen, or a new DU ID has been issued) must submit a Replacement Request Form to HR (Mary Reed Bldg) and receive approval prior to visiting the Transportation Center.  The replacement pass will not be issued without the approval form from HR.
