UPS President of Corporate Transportation, J. Burton (Burt) Wallace, began his career at the company as a part-time package handler in 1980. He has since held many senior level positions throughout his career at UPS. His current responsibilities consist of the oversight of the UPS Global Transportation Network, which includes: Hub and Feeder Operations, Railroad Intermodal Activity, Air Gateway Operations, Network Planning, and Transportation Technology. UPS is a $49.5B corporation, focused on the goal of enabling commerce around the globe. It is the world's largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services. In addition, Wallace sits on the Board of the Northwestern Business Advisory Committee. He was a graduate of Leadership Louisville and served on the Board of Directors for Dare to Care, a nonprofit agency dedicated to fighting hunger in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a bachelors degree in business management from the University of Maryland.
