John H. Broadley & Associates, PC
John Broadley is the owner of John H. Broadley & Associates, PC, specializing in
domestic and international transportation law and litigation, and international
privatization and regulatory matters. Prior to this, Broadley was a partner with the
law firm of Jenner & Block specializing in domestic and international transportation
matters. His practice also included antitrust litigation and counseling.
Broadley previously served as general counsel, Interstate Commerce Commission
where he was responsible for defending Commission decisions relating to federal regulation of rail, water, and motor carriers in the Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and for providing legal advice to the Commission and the Commissioners. Broadley has served as chief counsel for the Federal Railroad Administration and was Special Counsel, Rail Litigation, Civil Division for the Department of Justice. Early in his career, Broadley served as trial attorney for the Department of Justice and the Office of the General Counsel Department of Agriculture. Broadley earned his BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his JD from the University of California, Berkeley.
