Patrick J. Casey is vice president of fleet management with TTX Company. He is responsible for management of the company's fleet of over 200,000 railcars, including North America's largest intermodal fleet. Casey also has responsibility for the company's marketing, planning and supply chain functions. Casey joined TTX in 2000 as director, forecasting and planning. He was named assistant vice president of forecasting and planning in 2005 and assumed his current responsibilities on January 1, 2007. Prior to joining TTX, Casey spent 17 years with CSX Corporation. He started his career with Chessie System Railroads in the market research department, later holding positions in forecasting and marketing at CSX Transportation. He then worked for ten years for CSX Intermodal in a variety of marketing and planning positions. Casey holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Towson University and a master's degree, also in economics, from the University of Delaware. Casey is a member of the Intermodal Association of North America, the National Association for Business Economics (where he is a former Board member), the Conference of Business Economists and the Chicago Association for Business Economics. In addition to the ITI Board, Casey also sits on the Board of the Railway Supply Institute.
