Rich Wallace currently serves as vice president of transportation for JCPenney at their home office in Plano, Texas. His previous assignment was vice president of supply chain operations, which he held for three years. Wallace is responsible for driving collaborative solutions for international and domestic transportation at JCPenney, as an integrated part of their supply chain network.  Wallace's career with JCPenney began in 1984 in New York as a transportation analyst trainee. He enjoyed a nearly 28 year career in all aspects of JCPenney's supply chain network, including domestic and international transportation, engineering, enterprise supply chain support and operations. Wallace has a strong interest in intermodal transportation and has written a number of articles in various publications.
