Thomas M. Kelly was named president of North America Chassis Pool Cooperative LLC in 2013.  Kelly retired on July 31, 2011 as executive vice president and chief operating officer of MOL (America) Inc., a position he held since 2006. MOL (America) Inc. is the wholly-owned subsidiary of MOL (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines), one of the world's largest multimodal shipping companies. Before joining MOL in 1999, he spent 14 years with Lykes Bros. Steamship Co., Inc. and 11 years with American President Lines, Ltd. During his career he held senior positions of increasing responsibility in operations, sales, marketing, pricing and strategic planning. Before retirement, he served as a board member of the Intermodal Association of North America, The Pacific Merchant Sipping Association and the Ocean Carriers Equipment Management Association. He holds undergraduate and MBA degrees from Loyola University of New Orleans and resides in Jackson, Mississippi.
