APPLICATION

The Student Scholar Travel Fund provides funds for students who have academic work away from DU.

The SSTF provides grants to undergraduates who wish to present at an academic conference.

Students may request up to $1000 for approved reimbursable expenses related to their travel.  Examples of eligible expenses include:

•  travel, accommodations and registration to present at a conference related to scholarly research
•  travel and accommodations to present at a scholarly meeting

The Student Scholar Travel Fund does not fund service learning programs, DU courses, lessons or student stipends.

In order to be considered for funding, your travel should focus on your academic research and presentations, as opposed to personal goals, career development, and networking. The Fund will not pay for off-campus study programs or travel which has already been completed.

Applications are accepted at any time during the academic school year.The SSTF Committee reviews applications on a monthly basis.

All receipts must be turned in within 30 days of travel.
