  • Software: Microsoft Office 2004 Professional for MAC (DU Bookstore sells for $69) Virtual PC for MAC (Windows XP Emulation software)

  • Processor Speed: 1.0 Ghz

  • Memory: 512 MB RAM (Capability to upgrade to 2.0 GB RAM)

  • Hard Drive: 40 GB

  • Optical Storage Drive: CD-ROM 24x (CDRW Recommended for Data Backup)

  • Network Card: Integrated 10/100 Mbps

  • Warranty: 4 year parts and labor (on-site and accidental care recommended)

  • Ethernet cable: These are required for wired connections on campus. They can be bought at the bookstore. Please bring your cable to your laptop configuration session during orientation.

Optional:

  • Wireless integrated 802.11 b/g standard or Airport 802.11 b/g

  • Modem 56k

  • USB Flash Memory Storage Devices are strongly recommended
