Equipment & Services Overview

Smart Classroom Support - Multimedia Services supports 66 classrooms within Sturm Hall, Ben M. Cherrington Hall, Boettcher East, Seeley Mudd Building, Margery Reed Building, Shwayder Art Building, and Centennial Halls. We provide technical assistance and technical instruction for all faculty and staff.

Digital non-linear editing- We can teach you how to edit your own video, which includes using special effects such as slow-motion, fast-motion, stills, 3D effects, and transitions. How about audio? You can also create awesome sound with six stereo tracks. Enhance sound quality, using the video editing system CASABLANCA AVIO.

A/V equipment rental for meetings, workshops, and other events - We can assist you with your A/V needs for upcoming meeting and or events around campus.

Videoconferencing-We provide video conferencing and support for two-way and multi-point interactive "face-to-face" communications between the University of Denver and remote locations. Our services are available to the community.

Teleconferencing- We provide tele conferencing and support for groups to share a telephone call with others at a remote site.

Digital non-linear editing - We can create professional looking videos using the MAC G4 w/ Final Cut Pro and After Effects and Adobe Premier.

Creating DVD's- Let us design your project with custom menus and chapters using DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore for a dazzling results.

Transfer Data to Digital Media - Let us assist you with transferring files to CD.

Transfer Audio Recordings to CD - Let us assist you with transferring your current audio formats (MP3, wav., etc.) to CD.

Transfer VHS tapes to DVD- Let us assist you with transferring your current VHS tapes to DVD.

Duplication - We can duplicate your non-copyrighted media.

Digital Files - Bring in your 35mm slides and give them new life. Scan them for use in a PowerPoint presentation or on the Web.

Digital Video - Let us digitally videotape your upcoming event or class presentation.
