DOC files and Email Attachments - Microsoft Releases Patch for Word Vulnerabilty

On July 8, 2008 MicroSoft confirmed a vulnerability which could allow a remote attacker to take over a your computer and issued an advisory,  which may be read here.

On August 12, 2008 MicroSoft released a patch for this vulnerability for both MS and Macintosh versions of Word.

XP and Vista users may verify Word and all Microsoft Products are up-to-date, please click here.
