Local service (dial tone) is included as part of your campus residence service. There is no charge for placing local calls in the Denver metro area.
Local Calls Require 10 digits
The greater Denver metro area is covered by area codes 303
and 720. Because there are two codes assigned to one geographic
area, you must dial 10-digits, including the area code, for
all local calls. For further information on dialing local calls

of this site.
