Women Advocating Change

Who We Are

Women Advocating Change (WAC) is a group of staff women at the University of Denver interested in personal and professional education & development. We explore topics such as how to balance work & personal life, acting as effective mentors, career development and managing change.

              Background

WAC was first organized in 1997-1998 as one of six women's groups on campus including the Women's Leadership Council (for senior level women administrators), the Women's Faculty Association, Graduate & Undergraduate Women's Councils, and the Staff Women's Association & Network.

All six women's groups communicate and work together through representation on the Women's Coalition.
