At DU, we believe that an individual's health is their greatest asset. To support you and your family in caring for that asset, we offer a significant premium credit* for employees on a DU sponsored health plan OR exciting incentives for benefited employees not on a DU health plan.
Your information and screening results will be confidential; DU will only receive notice that you have reached bronze, silver, or gold status on the well@du Wellmetrics Portal in order to deliver incentives.
How do I join?
- Register for the well@du Wellmetrics Portal at du.mywellmetrics.com
- You will need to use your du.edu email address and DU ID to activate your account.
- Eligible Spouses/Partners (those on a DU employee's healthplan) - may use any email address and should use their spouse's/partner's DU ID with the letter "S" to acctivate their personal account. For example: 87xxxxxxS
- Earn points by engaging in wellness activities throughout the year and earn rewards!
Employees on a DU sponsored health plan may earn:
1,000 points/Bronze Level - July 2015- June 2016 premium incentive* - the deadline to earn this reward has passed for current employees. New Hires or employees whi joined a health plan during open enrollment please see below.
3,000 points/Silver Level - Employees who reach this level will be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 250 gift cards valued up to $250 - DEADLINE: November 15, 2015
5,000 points/Gold Level - July 2016 - June 2017 premium incentive - DEADLINE: May 15, 2016
*If you (and any covered spouse/partner) completed the program by May 15, 2015, you will receive up to $300 or $600 premium credit (depending on your coverage) for the plan year beginning July 1, 2015. The credit will be divided among your pay checks from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
Up to $300 credit is available for employee-only coverage or employee+children coverage.
Up to $600 credit is available for employee+spouse/partner coverage or employee+family coverage.
If your spouse/partner is covered with your plan, you must both complete the program to receive the incentive.
EMPLOYEES THAT JOINED A DU HEALTH PLAN DURING OPEN ENROLLMENT (MAY 1-15, 2015)
You will be able to participate in the premium discount program once your Kaiser health plan begins on July 1, 2015.
You will have 60 days from the start of your health plan to reach bronze status on the well@du Wellmetrics Portal and will be back credited the discount through July 2015.
NEW HIRES OR EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE ADDED A DU HEALTHPLAN DURING A QUALIFYING EVENT
New hires or employees that have added a DU healthplan during a qualifing event have 60 days from the start of their health plan to earn the discount. The sooner you complete this level, the sooner your discount will be applied.
Please note: 30 days after your hire date you will receive an email (to your du.edu account) with an activation code to register and begin earning points. You will not be able to access the portal until you have that email.
Benefited employees not on a DU sponsored health plan may earn
1,000 points/Bronze Level - Employees that reach this level will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card valued from $25 - $50 - DEADLINE: October 15, 2015
3,000 points/Silver Level - Employees that reach this level will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card valued from $50 - $100 - DEADLINE: February 1, 2016
5,000 points/Gold Level - Employees that reach this level will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card valued from $100 - $250 - DEADLINE: May 15, 2016
