Faculty and Staff Fitness Classes

well@du fitness classes are open to DU faculty/staff at no cost.

 

 

Vinyasa Yoga

A Vinyasa style series geared towards intermediate participants. Yoga "challenges", asana selection, and class focus will vary. 

Tuesdays -through May 30th

11:30am - 12:15pm 

Location: Coors Fitness Center Studio D (you don't need to be a member to attend)

Instructor: Stephanie

Registration is not necessary.  Please bring a mat and water bottle.  Limited mats will be provided. You can award points on the wellmetrics portal for your attendance in this class.

 

Iyengar Yoga 

An Iyengar style series geared towards beginner participants. Yoga "challenges", asana selection, and class focus will vary.

Wednesdays -through May 31st

11:30am - 12:15pm 

Location: Coors Fitness Center, Studio D (you don't need to be a member to attend)

Instructor: Jessica Sherwood

Registration is not necessary.  Please bring a mat and water bottle.  Limited mats will be provided. You can award points on the wellmetrics portal for your attendance in this class.

REFIT®

Focusing on building relationships through fitness by creating a safe space encouraging participants of all shapes and sizes.

Class includes cardio, agility, strength, dance, toning, flexibility and stretching to value positive music.

Tuesdays through June 13th

4:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: Check DU Digest for latest class room information. 

Instructor: Kristin Olson

Registration is not necessary. Please bring a water bottle and something comfy to move in. You can award points in the wellmetrics portal for attendance in this class.

TAI CHI SPONSORED BY KIHA

Beginning January 31st the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging will offer Tai Chi

Fridays from 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Location: ECS Rotunda event space on the 5th floor

Instructor: Mike Sanin

All experience levels are welcome and class is free to all DU employees and students. You can award points in the wellmetrics portal for attendance in this class. Utilize the Complete a Fitness Event Tile.
