The Wellness Living and Learning Community understands that a dimension
of overall wellness is community; giving to others. The following are some examples of projects

- Students spent a day helping to build a house in the Denver area with Habitat for Humanity
- Students helped prepare and serve food for "Taste for Life". A formal event sponsored by Project Angel Heart, an organization that makes meals for people living with HIV/AIDS and other life threatning illnesses
- Through the Child Rescue Foundation students collected lightly used
Teddy Bears, and wrote inspiring messages to domestically abused children
in the Denver area.
- The WLLC also had several students donate blood at
this years campus blood drive, sponsored by Bonfils blood center.
- Students
participated in Race for the Cure.
- Students ran in the MS race for hope
- Volunteered for a day at Warren Village, an organization dedicated to help low-income families find jobs.
- Students made care packages, pictured below, for families at the Ronald Mcdonald House.
