"Baby Snatchers"

A group of 100 couples who recently became parents meet for the auction of a lifetime... literally. Watch as the couples create alliances in order to bargain, cheat, steal, and con their way into a more attractive familial unit. With DNA modification becoming controversial and a lack of support from the government, these couples fight for their right to trade in their child for a more attractive model. Watch as couples from all walks of life auction off their children to the highest bidder in order to purchase someone else's child and the hereditary traits of their dreams.

Honorable Mention - Sarah Pessin's First Year Seminar Class

"Friend Me"

A group of eight MySpace-addicted teens are forced into a house with no computer access. They are required to build social community without MySpace, as their parents -- faithful addicts of Jerry Springer -- watch in horror.

Season One episodes include: "How to Make Friends Without Pushing a Button," in which housemates take turns waving to each other across an actual table, "Living Life Without the Song, emphasizing the importance of not having background music accompany your every moved, and finally, "LOL (Losing Our Lingo)," a touching episode in which the kids stop using abbreviations and start using real words.
