Adjunct Professor, Kathleen RiddleKathleen Riddle is an adjunct instructor in the University Writing Program. Originally from Virginia, Katie earned a BA in English and Women's Studies from the College of Charleston in South Carolina before moving even further from home to begin work on her PhD at the University of Oregon. She is currently a PhD candidate, hard at work on a dissertation entitled, "Re-Imagining Community: Postnationalism in Twenty-First Century Ethnic American Novels." Her research interests include: literatures of social justice, contemporary political philosophy, and cultural studies. Her teaching engages these interests by emphasizing the powerful social value of writing. |
