Blue Jean Online

Welcome to Blue Jean Online - the only web site written and produced by young women from around the world. It is a creative space for young women ages 14-22 to submit their writings, art work, photography, crafts and other works for online publication to a world wide audience.

Dads and Daughters

Dads and Daughters is the national education and advocacy nonprofit for fathers and daughters. DADs strengthens father-daughter relationships and battles pervasive cultural messages that value daughters more for how they look than who they are.

Girls Inc.

Girls Incorporated is a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. For over 55 years, Girls Inc has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

New Moon

New Moon Publishing produces media for every girl who wants her voice heard and her dreams taken seriously and for every adult who cares about girls.

New Moon is so great.  They really do it right.

OutProud

OutProud is the National Coalition for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth.  We serve the needs of these young men and women by providing advocacy, information, resources and support. Our goal is to help queer youth become happy, successful, confident and vital gay, lesbian and bisexual adults.

Stop the Hate

Stop the Hate was created by students for students and youth in high schools, colleges and communities as a call for action.  It has evolved as a leading voice for youth on the internet on hate and harassment.  It offers extensive resources for students, educators, law enforcement and community members.

Take Our Daughters to Work

The Ms. Foundation for Women created Take Our Daughters To Work Day so we could help girls stay strong and remain confident throughout adolescence. In creating the day, we intended to publicize, celebrate, preserve, and reinforce girls' natural strengths and optimism.

Teen Voices

Teen Voices honors the authentic voices of teenage and young adult women. Teen Voices challenges the mainstream media's image of girls by providing an intelligent alternative packed with original writing, poetry and artwork.  This is a great magazine run by terrific young women.

The cool thing is that they invite their readers to submit work for publication.  You could be next!

Third Wave Foundation

Third Wave is the only national activist philanthropic organization for young women between the ages of 15 and 30.  Through grantmaking, networking and public education, Third Wave informs and empowers a generation of young women activists.

Their idea is for young feminists to pledge a dollar amount equal to their age.  What a great idea!  And check out their "I Spy Sexism" campaign.

Women & Girls Tech Up

Women & Girls Tech Up's goal is to encourage women and girls - and the organizations which serve them - to use technology to share ideas, opinions, support, creativity and political action.
