Colorado Women's Agenda

Colorado Women's Agenda is a statewide network that champions economic security, social justice and political power for all Colorado women through public education, political advocacy, communications and grassroots activism.

Denver League of Women Voters

The League of Women voters of Denver, a nonpartisan organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy.  Its general objectives are to establish positions on public policy through members' participation and agreement; to take concerted actions that secure public policies consistent with League positions; to enhance citizen participation in federal, state, and local government decisions; and to increase citizen participation in the election process.  

Denver Women's Commission

The Denver Women's Commission enhances the quality of life in Denver by assisting women in the attainment of equality and full opportunity. The Commission works with coalitions of women's organizations to remove barriers and advocate for positive change; monitors legislation and proposed policy changes. It informs women's organizations who have an interest in legislative advocacy; publishes a monthly news bulletin card outlining events and developments in the Denver Women's Community.

National

The Center for American Women and Politics

CAWP is a university-based research, education and public service center. Its mission is to promote greater understanding and knowledge about women's participation in politics and government and to enhance women's influence and leadership in public life.  

Center for Policy Alternatives

CPA is the nation’s leading nonpartisan progressive public policy and leadership development center serving state legislators, state policy organizations, and state grassroots leaders.

The Center for Reproductive Law & Policy  

The Center for Reproductive Law and Policy, as the only group of public interest lawyers exclusively dedicated to reproductive rights advocacy, stands in defense of a woman's right to decide whether and when to have a child.  We face down anti-choice zealots and their every effort to thwart Roe v. Wade.

Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund

LLDEF is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, the transgendered, and people with HIV or AIDS through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.

National Council for Research on Women

NCRW's mission is to enhance the connections among research, policy analysis, advocacy, and innovative programming on behalf of women and girls.

National Women's Political Caucus

NWPC is the only national, grassroots membership organization dedicated to increasing the number of pro-choice women in elected and appointed office regardless of party affiliation.  Our mission is to increase women's participation in the political process and to identify, recruit, train and support pro-choice women for election and appointment to public office.  

Women's Action for New Directions

WiLL is a program of WAND--it is the only multi-partisan network of women state legislators who work together to influence the Administration and congress in their formulation of national legislation and budgetary priorities.  WiLL seeks to persuade Congress to redirect excessive military spending toward domestic needs, such as substantially improving women's health, eliminating violence against women, and curbing the proliferation of weapons.
