Professional Biography
I grew up in the beautiful mountain town of Evergreen, Colorado, about 45 minutes away from the University of Denver. I completed my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder and worked in Residence Life there before moving to Salt Lake City for my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah. I came to DU in 2016 where I worked as an Academic Advisor for almost three years before joining Undergraduate Admission. I have loved being on this beautiful campus working with a smaller population of undergraduate students. Outside of work, you’ll find me in the mountains with my husband and our mini poodle Daisy. I am an avid light rail rider and highly recommend our students use their pass on our local buses and trains – it’s sustainable and will save you on parking in Denver.
My piece of advice to anyone applying to college is to ask lots of questions, to visit campuses if you can, and to trust your gut. I am happy to connect with you as a high school or transfer applicant – the possibilities here at DU are fantastic!
