Senior Associate Director of Admission & Communication
After many years in both northern and southern California (where I graduated from UCLA), I was eager to join a similarly vibrant and cultured community, and have loved living in Denver since 2003. The pace of life, seasonal change, and accessible downtown were all very attractive features for me when relocating, and continue to be the reasons I enjoy both our city and our campus. I earned my Master's in Counseling here in Colorado, and while I have worked in various educational venues, I found myself drawn to the University of Denver. I’ve now been a member of the DU community for over 10 years!
When away from campus, you will find me spending time with my family and friends, traveling the world, rooting on the SF Giants, and walking whenever possible - it’s the best way to discover all the fantastic places that Denver's burgeoning restaurant scene has to offer. If I have one piece of advice to offer to our future applicants and students, it’s to look past numbers and stats and choose your college community with your intuition and heart… they rarely steer you wrong.
