About the Office
Statement of responsibility
The chancellor is the chief executive officer of the University of Denver and exercises broad responsibilities for all aspects of the operation of the University. The chancellor reports to the board of trustees.
As the dynamic and innovative leader of the University, the chancellor shares the University's vision, promotes its values, embraces its mission and ensures that it meets its goals.
Special Assistant to the Chancellor
Assistant Secretary of the Board of Trustees
Claire (MA, '01) is the primary staff liaison to the Board of Trustees, works with Chancellor Chopp regarding student and family concerns, and is responsible for Chancellor and University events.
Sara provides administrative and office management support. She serves as the Mary Reed Building Access Coordinator and sits on the Staff Advisory Council Executive Committee as co-secretary.
Alex supports the realization of DU IMPACT 2025 by working directly with University leadership and others involved in implementation. She manages and tracks a number of critical projects for the chancellor and provost.
Rebecca "Parker" Parker
Rebecca provides writing and research support for the Office of the Chancellor, contributing to reports and other collateral, and working closely with the Division of Communications and Marketing.
Executive Assistant to the Chancellor
Allison (BA, '10) provides executive administrative support to the chancellor, including the management of her schedule.
Director, Projects and Planning
Ed supports the University's strategic planning efforts, advises the chancellor on University matters, and serves as a liaison between senior administrators and other campus leaders.
