DU Research & Scholarship Showcase

The Research Showcase has been rescheduled to May 20th and will take place completely virtually on our new website! The event this year will combine student Prezi presentations, live Twitter streams, and dialogue via Twitter to share and celebrate your exciting research. All students are welcome to present.

The Writing Center has generously created an Abstract Writing Webinar that we strongly recommend you watch before completing your application and submitting your abstract.

They have also created a Poster Webinar, and while your final presentations will take the form of a Prezi presentation, the content of this webinar is still invaluable as you think about what to include in that presentation.

To share your link click Share Prezi, not the live link button. The Share Prezi link should work as it is included in the free account.

You will be asked to name the audience. We recommend you use "researchshowcase" to name it. Prezi will then create a link for you to copy and share.

See this example video from Prezi for more information:

We look forward to celebrating your research together!

About the showcase

The University of Denver welcomes DU community members to attend the second annual DU Research & Scholarship Showcase -- an event that showcases the exemplary scholarship of the University's graduate and undergraduate students. Previously separate events, the Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Symposium and Graduate DURAPS Research Symposium are proud to present the second iteration of this collaborative event as an embodiment of the DU IMPACT 2025 initiative to create ONE DU. Students from all disciplines are invited to participate in the Showcase. The Undergraduate Research Center (URC), the Office of Research and Graduate Education, and the Interdisciplinary Research Institute for the Study of (In)Equality (IRISE) will be collaborating with the Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship & Learning (CCESL) to broaden the scope of the scholarship represented at the Showcase. Career and Professional Development and the Writing Center will join us to host workshops on how to write a research abstract and how to create a poster presentation. We would like to give a special thanks to the DU Advancement team for their efforts to engage alumni, interested employers, and community members to participate as attendees this year.

Additional information for students who will be presenting at the Showcase can be found in the Presenters, Abstract, and Posters sections on the left side of this page.
