Admitted Student Visits

You're in, now come explore

Congratulations! You've completed the first step in becoming a Pioneer, and we hope you'll continue to consider DU as your college home. Before you do, though, we encourage you to come to campus and find out what makes DU a great place to find what inspires you. It starts with the beauty of our campus, but there's so much more to discover. At our admitted student events, you'll be able to talk to current DU students, faculty, and other campus employees.

Pioneer Days

Pioneer Days are your best chance to get a glimpse at the daily life of a DU student. On select Mondays, you'll get a chance to attend a Q&A panel with current DU students and senior administrators on campus. The day ends with a fair where you can talk to representatives from our academic majors and student life organizations.

Registration for 2018 dates will be available in the new year.

    Journey to DU

If you can only make it to campus on a weekend, Journey to DU is the way to go. A more conference-style program means you can personalize your visit so that you get the information you need most. You'll be able to attend breakout sessions with academic departments and student organizations -- it's a wonderful opportunity to discover what you want to study when you start college.

      Other visit options

      • Daily visits

We offer two daily visit events Monday through Friday, starting at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each event begins with a one-hour info session followed by a student-led tour of our campus, which usually lasts around 90 minutes. We'll tell you about our academic programs, housing options, study abroad opportunities, financial aid options and more. You can even request to speak with a representative from an academic department (depending on availability).

      • Friday@DU

Several Fridays a year, we offer special events that include a Q&A with current DU students in addition to the campus tour and info session. You can also request to speak with an academic representative from any department as part of your college visit (depending on availability). We'll even buy you lunch!

      • Transfer visit preview day

If you're considering transferring to DU or you've already been admitted as a transfer student, you're invited to join us on select Fridays during the spring and summer for a student Q&A session and campus tour. We'll also set you up with a transfer coordinator if you have questions about starting your time at DU.
