Restitution of Nazi Art Plunder: Recent Successes and Ongoing Challenges
Join our panel discussion on recent successes and challenges in the restitution of Nazi-looted art, examining a case study of the Gutmann collection plundered in the Netherlands and France. Panelists include Simon Goodman, grandson of Fritz and Louise Gutmann and author of The Orpheus Clock: The Search for My Family's Art Treasures, and Isabella Zuralski-Yeager, art historian and retired senior archivist at the Getty Research Institute. Historian and ACE Director Elizabeth Campbell will moderate the discussion. The event will be streamed for audiences beyond Los Angeles, with a link provided closer to the date.
