Keeley Hunter earned her M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Denver with a focus in Rhetoric and Communication Ethics and a cognate in Communication and Cultural Studies. The classes she teaches include: Race & Pop Culture, ASEM: Unwrapping the Rhetoric of Consumption, Gender, Culture, & Communication, Social Movement Rhetoric, and Foundations of Communication. Her research examines the linkages between consumption, identity, and relationships through constructs like secondhand shopping, retail therapy, neoliberal governance, communicative labor, and bio power.
