Creative and Liberal Arts Reimagined
We're transforming creative and liberal arts education through our Keystone Strategic Plan, which supports the University's new vision for higher education, DU IMPACT 2025. Within a redesigned and unified College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, this plan values each student's need for deep foundational knowledge along with high-impact experiential learning.
Our educational philosophy balances active classroom and community engagement with focused, individualized support. This approach creates a collaborative environment to help students achieve their educational goals and flourish as individuals.
Keystone Experiences
Our undergraduates want an education that gives them the opportunity to integrate their goals and interests into an immersive, hands-on educational experience. This type of learning happens best when students engage in experiences such as internships, research and artistic productions with campus and community partners.
Center for Innovation in the Liberal and Creative Arts
Functioning as an academic venture capital firm, the Center for Innovation in the Liberal and Creative Arts provides the space, seed money and administrative support necessary for experimentation. We seek to spark inquiry and collaboration through pilot projects, new academic programs and curricular innovations.
