Cost of Attendance

The total cost of a DU education includes direct costs that will appear on your University bill, such as tuition, fees and charges for room and board, as well as estimates for indirect costs such as books, transportation and personal expenses.

Tuition rates for the following academic year are typically announced in November.

For more information, please visit the DU Financial Aid website.

Scholarships

We grant comprehensive scholarship awards based on musical talent and academic merit. Financial need is also considered if the student applies for DU need-based financial aid. Awards range from $1,000 to full tuition.

You can expect to receive notification regarding your financial aid award within two weeks of your admission decision.

Scholarships from the Lamont School of Music cannot be stacked with merit scholarships, room grants, or DU Educational Grant funds from the University of Denver.
