Lamont School of Music presents

Colorado Clarinet Day 2019

Colorado Clarinet Day

September 15, 2019

Welcome Message

Welcome to the eighth annual Colorado Clarinet Day! It is once again time to enjoy a day of great clarinet music. This year we will welcome Diane Barger from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Denise Gainey from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Clarinetists from the Colorado Symphony and Colorado Springs Philharmonic will join the professors from CU-Boulder, DU, CSU and MSU-Denver in an exciting potpourri recital. Back by popular demand, a massed clarinet ensemble will present a concert of exciting clarinet choir tunes. Finally, we'll host our High School Young Artist Competition and the winner will perform their solo piece that evening.

Come and check out the newest clarinets, reeds, ligatures, gig bags and accessories from:

Taplin & Weir
Kolacny Music
Michael Drapkin
James Calix-RDG Woodwinds
Altieri Musical Instrument Bags
US Army Bands

I am so excited to host the eighth year of this wonderful event. Enjoy your time at the Lamont School of Music for the 2019 Colorado Clarinet Day.

I look forward to seeing you all.
