  In 2013, Michael Furry graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a masters in music theory. He also holds a bachelor of arts in music from the University of North Texas. 

  Michael has toured the US as a guitar player for more than 15 years. He has played with and opened for some of the biggest names in the industry including Snarky Puppy, EOTO, Greg Ginn, Rebirth Brass Band, The Motet, RAQ, Dumpstaphunk, Eric McFadden, Cornmea, and Spoonfed Tribe.

  Michael grew up surrounded by rock and as a result his main influences are The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Phish, Umphreys McGee, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, and Cream. Michael also plays Pop, Funk, Folk, Bluegrass and Jazz. He also has an appetite for learning new styles.

  Michael joined the Lamont staff in the summer of 2015.
