The Lamont Opera Theatre and the Lamont Symphony Orchestra present a fully produced opera or musical in June Swaner Gates Concert Hall range in price from $11 to $30.

Musical Theatre Cabaret performances are in Frederic C. Hamilton Family Recital Hall or the Elizabeth Eriksen Byron Theatre and are $10.

Viennese opera at its finest, Die Fledermaus (The Bat) focuses on a Russian Prince's magnificent masked ball attended by an eclectic collection of characters in assorted disguises. Humor and farce follow them on a journey from bedroom to ballroom ending with a hilarious romp in jail.

Composed by Johann Strauss II to a German libretto by Karl Haffner and Richard Genée.

Merry Wives of Windsor

Otto Nicolai’s exuberant romp, based on Shakespeare’s comedy, revolves around the captivating rascal Sir John Falstaff, who attempts to seduce the wives of two of Windsor’s most prominent men. But the wooed Windsor women see right through his schemes, making his plans go askew with disastrous and hilarious results.

2014 Fall Production: Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific

South Pacific

Set on a tropical island near the end of World War II, South Pacific tell the romantic stories of two couples, American Navy nurse Nellie Forbush and her French plantation owner Emile de Becque, and U.S. Navy Airman Joe Cable and a young Polynesian girl, Liat. Their chance for happiness is threatened by war and racial prejudice amidst the classic songs "Some Enchanted Evening," "There is Nothin' Like a Dame" and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair."
