Knowing a second language in a globalized world has uncontested benefits. Bilingualism is a highly sought-after ability in countless professional fields—many businesses even require their employees to be bilingual.

Graduates of the Department of Languages and Literatures at DU are equipped with this ability and more. In the process of learning a language, our graduates also develop many other desirable skills:
