PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

I was born and educated in New England. While a student at Middlebury College in Vermont, I studied at the Johannes Gutenberg Universität in Mainz, Germany and at the Middlebury College School in Paris, France. After graduating cum laude with a BA from Middlebury College, and after a few years of work in Washington, D.C. and Florida, I began studies for an MA at the University of Vermont. Upon completion of this degree, I was hired as an adjunct instructor at the University of Denver. I joined the department full-time in 1993 as a lecturer and became a senior lecturer in 2004.

My primary teaching responsibilities lie in coordinating and teaching the elementary and intermediate French language courses. I enjoy incorporating new technologies into the language classroom. I love teaching language!
