Center for Child & Family Psychology

The Center for Child and Family Psychology at the University of Denver provides assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and parents.

Our clinic is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to the community. Our clinic is the training center for our American Psychological Association accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology. Most services are provided by students in our Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program and supervised by licensed clinical psychologists.

Clinical services are offered on the basis of a sliding scale because we are committed to providing affordable, high quality services to a culturally and economically diverse clientele. We value establishing warm, supportive relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

                      Diversity is valued here.

our clinics

We have three clinics within the Center for Child and Family Psychology.

  • In our Evidence-Based Therapy Clinic doctoral students in our Clinical Psychology program provide evidence-based therapy under the direction of a licensed clinical psychologist. Our services tend to be skills-based and time-limited, and we actively track clients' progress to ensure they are making meaningful treatment gains.
  • In our Developmental Neuropsychology Assessment Clinic, we conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and emerging adults who are experiencing problems in school and have concerns for dyslexia or other learning disabilities, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences.
  • In our Comprehensive Assessment Clinic, we conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations for people experiencing a complex assortment of emotional, behavioral, social, and/or academic challenges.
