Explore worldwide religion and religious traditions.

Happy start to Fall 2020! Religious Studies is excited to welcome back our continuing BA and MA students, and to welcome our new MA and BA students - and to welcome our JDP doctoral students as well! This is an unusual time, and we are happy to be learning and working together, while keeping safe and healthy.

As part of DU's return-to-campus plan, our Fall 2020 courses include a mix of formats. Many of our courses will be online - which will give our students the chance to explore the pandemic's impact on religious communities, including virtual religious services and expressions of faith during a moment of hard times for many people around the world.

Teaching online or hybrid courses means that our students will be able to take virtual "site visits" that allow them to explore houses of worship around the world - and that our students are able to engage with digital content that helps them better understand lived religion today!
