DeRadicalization in a US Context

Past event

Christian Picciolini will discuss disengagement and de-radicalization practices specifically relevant to today's violent "alt-right" and "jihadist" movements.

Christian is the co-founder of Life After Hate, a nonprofit helping people disengage from hateful groups and ideologies. As a former leader of the early American white supremacist skinhead movement, he describes his emotional drift from his loving family, his recruitment and rapid rise into leadership of the white power movement, as well as his exit from the movement.
