Past event

LOCATION: Driscoll Student Center, Room 135 (Suite 1880)

Join the Department of Languages & Literatures' Japanese Program with the Japanese Bunka Kai (JBK) Language & Culture Club in a Kakizome workshop.

What is Kakizome? Otherwise known as the "First Calligraphy of the New Year," Kakizome is a Japanese tradition to welcome in the New Year. Using brush and ink on Japanese calligraphy paper, we write words that will inspire us throughout 2018.

This is a FREE event. Also, no experience is required! Come join us and learn Kakizome!
