Attend The Power of Networks: Leveraging Social Media workshop and learn how to utilize Pioneer Connect (formerly AlumniFire) and the new LinkedIn for your job search. In this session, you will learn how to find contacts and jobs within Pioneer Connect and how to use advanced LinkedIn functions such as Career Insights, LinkedIn Groups and LinkedIn Jobs to identify open positions and to connect with professionals in your industry.

Walk away from this session knowing how to:

  • Network with alumni and employers and increase your chances of getting hired
  • Research companies so you hear about job openings first
  • Improve your Google search results
  • Get recruited by top companies


Take advantage of LinkedIn Profile Review Sessions that will be available before and after the workshop. Professional career coaches will be available to review, provide feedback and optimize your profile and make sure you stand out to potential employers. The reviews are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
