Writing a Strong Resume

Explaining your work and leadership experience on a resume can be very challenging. This hands-on workshop will provide you with multiple tools for writing your professional and leadership experience bullet points, as well as offer one-on-one assistance during the workshop with writing experts.
1. Learn to write effective resume bullets and showing you how to use the tools provided (30 minutes)
2. Get 1-on-1 help from writing specialists to ensure you leave with a resume that is ready to apply for jobs (45-60 minutes)
3. Get tips & tricks to help you write targeted resumes on your own Bring at least 1 printed copy of your resume and your laptop to work on changes electronically, if you wish. The Writing Center and Career & Professional Development teams will have plenty staff onsite to help with writing, translating, and revising your resume.
