Dr. Joshua Eisenman is Assistant Professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at University of Texas at Austin, and Senior Fellow for China Studies at the American Foreign Policy Council.

Dr. Eric Heginbotham is Principal Research Scientist at the Center for International Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Joshua Eisenman and Dr. Eric Heginbotham’s book China Steps Out: Beijing's Major Power Engagement with the Developing World will be available for purchase at the event.
