Engaged Practitioner Opportunity

The Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship and Learning is offering to cover the registration for interested faculty to attend the first annual 2018 Summit: The State of Engagement in Higher Education on Thursday, November 1st, from 11:00am-3:00pm here at the University Denver. Please email [email protected] if you are interested.

The State of Engagement in Higher Education

What is higher education's role in improving civic health and equity? What are national trends in higher education engagement and how do those translate to sector-wide priorities across campuses and communities in the region? What does higher education engagement look like across diverse communities in the Mountain West?

Please join us on November 1, 2018 at the University of Denver, hosted by Chancellor Rebecca Chopp, to explore these questions. CCMW is excited to partner with the Colorado Leadership Alliance at the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation as co-host for the Summit and to welcome Marisol Morales, Vice President for Network Leadership at national Campus Compact, as keynote speaker. Join us to create connections with administrators, faculty, staff, and students from campuses across the region and have your voice included in the dialogue to respond to regional challenges by leveraging regional strengths.
