PIO Campus Visits

**As of June 2017, The Cultural Center is no longer offering the PIO Campus Visits program**

Please contact Roderick Rose in the Admissions office for all campus visit inquiries.

Beginning in early 2012, Undergraduate Admission and Volunteers in Partnership program partnered with the The Cultural Center to expand the opportunity for elementary and middle school students to visit the University of Denver as an early outreach initiative.

The Pioneer Initiative for Outreach (PIO) Visit Program was designed to welcome K-9 grade students from historically underrepresented backgrounds to the University of Denver for (1) a culturally relevant Planning for College presentation, (2) an opportunity to connect with current DU students to learn more about their journey to and through college, and (3) a chance to explore the DU campus. The program grew quickly, with nearly 3000 students exploring their college potential each year.
