CWC Leadership Scholars Program Coordinator
What I do
At CWC, I am responsible for supporting, encouraging and empowering our CWC Leadership Scholars. I coordinate co-curricular programming for our amazing leader scholars, which means I do everything from ensuring we have busses for our retreats to providing a brave space for our scholars to explore who they are and want to become. What motivates me to work at CWC is the ability through the Leadership Scholars program to meaningfully contribute to advancing gender equity and inclusion in higher education.
In addition to my work at CWC, I am a PhD student and graduate research assistant in Higher Education at the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver. I earned my Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education; and my BA in Sociology from Southwestern University. I have over 10+ years of experience in non-profit and higher education in research, teaching, advising, and program coordination with an emphasis on supporting first-generation college students, and students of color. Within CWC I am a calming presence, a maximizer of ideas, and I have the office’s best laugh.
