Annual Laboratory Safety Training

Training Link: Annual Laboratory Safety Training

This training satisfies the annual training requirement for DU personnel working with or around chemicals in laboratories. The online training will take approximately one hour to complete.  Lab Safety training is offered through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative.  You will need to register on the C.I.T.I. website and create an account and password associated with the University of Denver.  Once you have an account, go to "Main Menu/My Courses", then to "Add a Course" in the "My Learner Tools for University of Denver" box, and scroll down to "Question 4" - Laboratory Safety.  Select "yes", and scroll down to "submit".  You can now take the course and quiz.

Bloodborne Pathogens

This OSHA-required annual training covers all employees who could be "reasonably anticipated", as the result of performing their job duties, to face contact with blood and/or other potentially infectious materials. Bloodborne pathogens training is offered through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative.  Follow the same steps as described above to create an account and choose a course.
