ELC Application


We are accepting applications for the following intensive 10 week programs:

  • Spring Quarter: March 25 - June 3, 2021
  • Summer Quarter: June 10 - August 19, 2021
  • Fall Quarter: September 9 - November 18, 2021

Application deadlines are typically 2-3 weeks before the start of a program.

  • Applications are complete when all required documents listed below have been submitted and the application fee is paid.
  • After an application is complete, it will be processed within one week. Our Admission staff will email you about the status of your application.
  • When a student is accepted to the ELC, we will create an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility (if necessary) along with necessary visa information.

All students are required to submit the following items to complete an ELC application. All documents can be uploaded to your application:

  1. A copy of the passport name page
  2. A bank statement or letter of financial guarantee showing sufficient funds
  3. A $100 non-refundable application fee paid with a credit card.
  4. A completed application with all required documents requested by our Admission staff

Students transferring from another U.S. school are also required to upload and submit a copy of the following documents:

  1. U.S. Visa
  2. Latest school transcript
  3. I-20 from current school



Under Age 18 Policy (Click here)

Please refer to our Under 18 Policy if you will be under 18 years of age at the start of orientation. The following items are required for international students under 18:

  • A University of Denver Health and Counseling Parental Consent Form signed by a parent or legal guardian. This form can be uploaded to your application.
  • Satisfactory demonstration of one of the following:
    • Student Sponsorship: The student is sponsored by a reputable agency, representative, or company that has an adult over the age of twenty-five (25) living within the United States who will serve as a 24/7 resource for the student and can travel to Denver on short notice.
    • Family or Friend: The student has a family member or close family friend over the age of twenty-five (25) who lives in the U.S. and is willing and able to serve as a 24/7 resource for the student and can travel to Denver on short notice.
