ELC Application

 

We are accepting applications for the following 10-week quarter programs:

  • Winter Quarter: January 2 - March 12, 2020
  • Spring Quarter: March 26 - June 4, 2020
  • Summer Quarter: June 11 - August 20, 2020

 


Application Instructions

The presentation below shows step-by-step instructions on how to complete and submit your ELC application.

 

Required Application Documents

All students are required to submit the following items to complete an ELC application. All documents can be uploaded to your application:

  1. A copy of the passport name page
  2. A letter of financial guarantee showing sufficient funds
  3. A $75 non-refundable application fee paid with a credit card
  4. A completed application with all required documents

Students transferring from another U.S. school are also required to submit:

  1. Copy of U.S. visa
  2. Copy of latest school transcript
  3. Copy of I-20 from current school

Applications are complete when all required documents have been submitted and the application fee is paid.

After an application is complete, it will be processed within one week.

Our Admission staff will email you about the status of your application.

After a student is accepted to the ELC, we will create an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility. After the I-20 is ready, we will email instructions on how to setup shipment through eShipGlobal. Students are responsible for shipping expenses and may choose UPS, FedEx, or DHL to ship their I-20 and acceptance documents.

 

 

Under Age 18 Policy

Please refer to our Under 18 Policy if you will be under 18 years of age at the start of orientation. The following items are required for international students under 18:

  • A University of Denver Health and Counseling Parental Consent Form signed by a parent or legal guardian. This form can be uploaded to your application.
  • Satisfactory demonstration of one of the following:
    • Student Sponsorship: The student is sponsored by a reputable agency, representative, or company that has an adult over the age of twenty-five (25) living within the United States who will serve as a 24/7 resource for the student and can travel to Denver on short notice.
    • Family or Friend: The student has a family member or close family friend over the age of twenty-five (25) who lives in the U.S. and is willing and able to serve as a 24/7 resource for the student and can travel to Denver on short notice.
